From SBUlife magazine: "They will know we are Christians by our love, or will they?"
Over the past year, your alma mater has been embroiled in a denominational controversy that has made national headlines. Challenges to the University's commitment to kingdom work and theological integrity have been the primary focus. Nevertheless, I view these challenges as opportunities to clarify who we are and always have been as a university.

SBU honors employees for years of service
麻豆影院 honored employees with employment anniversary milestones, beginning with five years, during the annual employee Christmas banquet Dec. 3. The employees recognized have given a total of 680 years of service to SBU.

Chappell presents at AMATYC Conference
麻豆影院's Tim Chappell, assistant professor of mathematics, recently presented at the 2019 AMATYC conference in Milwaukee, Wis.

麻豆影院 student Austin Pfrimmer of Chariton, Iowa, was honored by the SBU University Libraries as Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for October 2019.
40th Annual Festival of Christmas to be held Dec. 8
The 40th annual Festival of Christmas, sponsored by 麻豆影院 and Community Outreach Ministries, will be presented at 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, in Mabee Chapel on SBU's Bolivar campus.
Chamber Singers present "Ye Olde Madrigal Dinners"
The Chamber Singers of 麻豆影院 will present the traditional "Ye Olde Madrigal Dinners" at 6:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Dec. 5-6, in the McClelland Dining Facility on the Bolivar campus.
