BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥� 麻豆影院 senior Matthew Randolph of Lebanon, Mo., recently passed both parts of the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam. CMA certification is a professional credential that can be earned in the advanced management accounting and financial management fields.

According to the Institute of Management Accountants鈥� website (), the CMA exam 鈥渉as been the global benchmark for management accountants and financial professionals鈥� for more than 40 years.

鈥淭he two-part CMA exam is considered very rigorous,鈥� said Jenell Wagner, EA, CMA and assistant professor of accounting at SBU. 鈥淭o take and pass this exam before graduation is a big accomplishment. You make us proud, Matt!鈥�

Randolph is the first SBU student to take the CMA exam before completing his degree. After graduating and satisfying a two-year experience requirement, he will officially receive his CMA certification.

鈥淪BU鈥檚 accounting faculty are personally invested in ensuring the success of every student, and I couldn鈥檛 have achieved this without their support or commitment to my education,鈥� Randolph said. 鈥淚 thank God for SBU and I thank SBU Accounting for preparing me for my future and giving me the confidence I will now have in my accounting profession.鈥�
